“Prada” was founded in 1913 by Mario Prada in Milan. In the beginning the company was known as a producer of leather, but thanks to the granddaughter of the founder – Miuccia Prada Prada e today what it is.
Miuccia Prada e born in 1949. Entering a family business it totally changed the face of the brand products. Prefers synthetic materials and unusual combinations. Prada concept is to be available to selected few and not widely distributed.
In 1985 Miuccia Prada created a line of ladies shoes and ladies 1989 clothing line. 1995 comes with a collection of men’s fashion Prada. Gradually began to open boutiques in different parts of the world and Prada became a mandatory part of the wardrobe of celebrities.
In 1993 Miuccia Prada received Award International Council of Fashion Designers of USA, and in 1995 won the award “Designer of the Year.
