Guccio Gucci was born in 1881. In 1898 left Florence and settled in London, where he worked in the hotel industry, impressed by the kind of luxury suitcases guests, seven years later he returned to Italy and began selling saddles and Dishan. In 1922 he opened a leather goods store. Gradually gaining popularity and brand under the name Gucci boutiques are starting to emerge in different parts of the world. A special contributions have four sons Guccio – Aldo, Ugo, Vasco, Rudolfo. In 1989 the company became president’s son Rudolfo – Maurizio, who holds a share of 50%. In 1990 the company joined Tom Ford and Daun Melo, who positively change the structure of the company. In 1995, Maurizio Gucci was killed. Due to the skill of the designer Ford, Gucci became one of the most profitable fashion houses and preferred choice of global names such as Madonna, Kim Novak, Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable and others.
