Gianni Versace was born on December 2, 1946 in Italy.
Thanks to his mother, who has a tailor shop, he made his first steps in creating clothes. Since 1972, when he moved to Milan, working for various fashion houses and names – Fiori Fiorentini, De Parisi, Genny, Callaghan, Alma, Complice. In 1978 opened its first own boutique Via della Spiga, where foreign and sell their clothes. Gradually it opens boutiques in different parts of the world and its own factory.
For his work as his family and many young talented people to build upon his ideas and create clothes from abstract drawings of Gianni.
In 1997, Gianni Versace was fatally shot dead outside his Miami mansion.
